Our Eerie Halloween Entryway

I had so much fun creating this “eerie” entryway for the Halloween holiday. I must admit, I’m not much of a fan of ghosts and goblins or blood and vampires (sorry all true blood or vampire diary fans) but, that didn’t mean I couldn’t find some moderately spooky and eerie decor via Wayfair to decorate our entryway.  Most of the time I stick to pumpkins and mums and a hay bale or two and call it good – but this year, I had a little more fun with it.

After researching some ideas online and gathering some inspiration I decided to go with bat adhesives for the door and spider web clings for the side windows. I even grabbed a handful of bat cutouts to hang from fallen tree branches at our front door. I finalized the look with a setting sun and bat-themed doormat. All-in-all, I ended up loving this look and finding that it aligned with my style of Halloween decorating. Rowan seems to notice and call the bats “birds” and then points at the spiders and the webs and says “bugs!” 🙂
