Old Navy Basics + Try On

I typically wear a size 8-10 or a Medium/Large and I am 5’7″ (for specs in case you’re interested in ordering) I also want to mention that Old Navy does sell “plus size” clothing options for my curvy lady friends! By purchasing through the links on the site or this blog post, you help support my small blogging business and allow me to continue to share styles and products that I love. Just click on the pink product title in the descriptions below. Thank you so much!

The description of each item is below the photos – and I apologize in advance for ALL of the stripes šŸ™‚

Long Line Open Front Sweater
This sweater is SO comfortable and made of a great quality. It is a fantastic layering sweater and the best part – pockets! I highly suggest buying this if you’re looking for a sweater in this style. It also comes in black, and black marl. The black marl is amazing too and the black is classic.

Striped Luxe Swing Tank
This striped luxe swing tank is amazing! So comfy and I love the way it hangs in the front. Not too clingy! Tuck it in for a more trendy look or let it hang. You can use it as a great layering piece for fall or summer!

Relaxed Lightweight Cap-Sleeve Striped Top
I loved this top and decided to buy it! I thought it would be the perfect layering piece for under some of the cardigans and different sweaters I purchased for fall via the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

High-Rise Secret-Slim Raw-Edge Rockstar Jeans
I loved these jeans but didn’t get them. I already have distressed denim and the thought of fall and cooler weather coming around the corner gave me pause to realize they weren’t the best purchase for me (at this time) but if you’re in a warmer weather climate or a girl who just loves her distressed denim, these were really great!

Distressed Boyfriend Straight Jeans for Women
I have these same boyfriend jeans in a darker wash. They are some of my favoriteĀ jeans. Again, the distressed denim wasn’t something I was looking to purchase – but if you’re looking for a good distressed jean, this is also great!

Slim-fit Rib-Knit TeeĀ
I could not find this exact tee online, which was really frustrating. However, I did find a similar style from Old Navy and linked to it here. Something about the stripes this summer/fall!

Relaxed Ruffle-Trim Sleeveless Top for Women
This is another great blouse for layering. It would be awesome for a working lady who wants to tuck it into a skirt, slacks, or dressy pair of denim jeans. Toss a blazer over it and you’re all set! I typically veer away from ruffle sleeved anything because the ruffles can be overwhelming, but not these!

Sueded-Knit Moto Jacket for Women
I saw this moto jacket online while browsing the Old Navy website before shopping in-store and when I saw it in person I was a bit surprised. I definitely thought it would have been a little more “suede” feeling to the touch but it is definitely not…it’s more knit than suede but could fool anyone! With that said, it’s SUPER comfortable and was really cute on. I loved it in both grey and khaki.

Luxe Crew-Neck Swing Tee for Women
Ok, let’s take a minute to talk about the luxe tees at Old Navy. WOWzers. I have never felt a t-shirt this comfy. I loved how flattering they were and I love that they come in so many colors. I’m a sucker for a cheap, comfy t-shirt. This was a win and came home with me for sure!

Off-the-Shoulder Tiered-Ruffle Swing Top for Women
This was a super cute off-the-shoulder top! I love that it looked cute up a little higher on the shoulders and pulled down a little for a more feminine look. All-in-all this top does slide up a tad on the shoulders and doesn’t stay put. So if you want it there, you’d be adjusting often. With that said, it totally looks cute either way.

Textured V-neck Tunic Sweater
Love love love this! Especially in the red (which I’m not finding online) booo! But I also loved it in the other colors available. I would size up for a looser fit if you want to layer it over a collared shirt or something of the sort. It’s very comfortable but could use a little room in the arms. I tried a small on in these photos and would have gone up to my typical size, a medium – perhaps even a large – if I had purchased it. The red would be beautiful for the holidays. Quality felt great!

Relaxed Striped Tunic Shirt
This was a great shirt. I wanted it bad. But stripes. I have SO many stripes. And since I was buying the striped short sleeve top…I knew that if I also bought this I’d be over-doing it. So I put this back…reluctantly. I still keep thinking about it. I’m feeling like I need to go back and get it! Or wait till it goes on super sale. It has some stretch to it and is super comfortable.

High-Rise The Power Jean, a.k.a. The Perfect Straight for Women
These were magnificent. The material was extremely comfortable and I thought the dark wasĀ great. The cropped look wasn’t one I thought I’d like but I ended up finding it flattering! I am 5’7″ so having a little longer legs/taller frame may have helped my cause. Super cute, and slightly higher-waisted which was nice!

Terry Ruffle Sleeve Sweatshirt
This was cute. I just couldn’t wrap my head around a specific need for it. But, it was cute! šŸ™‚ That is all.

Floral Sleeveless Ruffle Trimmed Top
This is another great blouse for layering. I loved the floral pattern a lot. Definitely a great buy if you’re looking for layering pieces or good professional looking items to add to your wardrobe.

Rockstar High-rise Fringe Hem Denim
I felt like these were more high-rise than mid-rise. I loved them, so I did get this pair of denim. The lighter wash is new to my closet (I have mostly dark denim). These were a great fit and I loved the ankle length raw edge hem.

Relaxed Mariner Striped Tee
Another great long sleeve tee! I have it in blue stripe at home but I kinda like the black stripe better. I’m thinking I’ll send the blue stripe back for the black since I have a lot more that goes with black!

Every-wear Linen Blend Tee
Another comfy (and striped) basic tee! Comes in other colors. Love the longer sleeves and the material!
