Capsule Wardrobe Outfit: The Statement Coat & Brown Loafers

I’ve been super slow to show you outfits from my fall capsule wardrobe. Those of you who are living in Northern Michigan can see this is true given the fact that there isn’t snow on the ground in these photos and it looks mildly warm outside! I took these photos in the middle of October, but I’ve been wearing this coat with everything! I plan to wear it all winter long. It is seriously the most wonderful, lightweight coat…I’ve ever worn. I always like my capsule wardrobe to have a few items that bring out some color. Otherwise, I am typically a grey and black clothing girl. I don’t stray much from that color palette. But adding in some pops of color – mostly warm, earthy tones…helps me feel less like a vampiress.

You can find some similar coats/jackets here, here, and here, and here. I couldn’t find the exact one in these photos to share. It’s made by Tahari, and is a TJ Maxx find.

You can find other items of similar style from my look below!

Moto jeans {similar}: here and here
Grey tunic long sleeve {similar}: here and here
Brown loafers {Latigo}: here
