Well isn’t the title of this blog post enough to make those of you living in Michigan laugh hysterically. Since I snapped these photos two weeks ago, we’ve had a crazy hurricane-like storm sweep northern Michigan and we’ve also had 3-4 inches of snow! There are no leaves left on the trees and there is definitely snow still on the ground. The last of the fall colors are gone indefinitely.
Dusty, Rowan, and I snuck out a couple weekends back for a beautiful afternoon of looking at the fall colors around town. Rowan was amazed by the views…he just loves being outdoors – period. During our excursion, Dusty snapped a handful of photos of me with Rowan, he had just turned one-year-old on the 13th of October, and I had yet to get some photos of him. These will definitely be some of the most special memories and images I have with him. I’m also sporting this new jacket courtesy of the Red Fleece Collection – a sibling brand of Brooks Brothers. It’s the perfect jacket for layering, waterproof, and really warm! I love it. To shop the entire look, scroll to the bottom of this blog post.
I hope your fall was wonderful and that your holiday is looking bright! We are really excited for Christmas with Rowan this year. We are going to chop down a small table-top tree from our backyard. Do you have any holiday traditions?
