Around the Home: Autumn Accents

Autumn and the harvest season is by far my favorite time of year. I love to decorate our home with all things pumpkins. Decorating with gords and pumpkins is something that transitions from September well through the end of November. I especially love decorating the front of our home and our doorway. Hay bales, pumpkins, mums, and a cute entryway rug! Many of the pumpkins for sale these days are beautiful pastel shades and I LOVE them and the more quirky and odd looking – the better!

I’ve had this wreath for so many years, every year I swap out different filler flowers and such to freshen it up. This year I intertwined some dried eucalyptus – not only does it smell good when you approach the door, but I love the way it looks.

I mentioned earlier that I love pumpkins. All things pumpkins. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that I also decorated inside our home with them too. Just a couple next to this beautiful centerpiece on our dinner table. It’s simple and sweet and when the candles are lit it offers the best ambiance!

How do you like to decorate for autumn?
