Warm weather has made its presence in Northern Michigan and I couldn't be more ready for it. After many…and I mean many months of being cooped up inside with a newborn…I am OK with winter disappearing for good. Don't get me wrong, the cozy days on the couch, snuggling our little guy have been well worth it…and winter is the best time for snuggles so I wouldn't change a thing. I am just ready. Ready for more sun on my cheeks and to get out for walks without bundling up from head to toe.

Last weekend, Dusty, Rowan and I went into town for lunch and then took a little walk along the lake. We were really excited to let Rowan look out over the lake and take in the scenery…but he had other plans and found that his stroller was a good place to immediately take a snooze. While our littlest companion decided to nap, Dusty and I walked and talked – uninterrupted by baby screeches and cries. The afternoon was beautiful and one we all really needed as Dusty is gearing up for a shelf exam soon. Which means we won't see him as much as we'd like…at least not in a leisure and casual way like we were able to enjoy on this particular day. I especially enjoyed wearing this new striped top from Tobi!
