With Christmas fast approaching and a New Year almost upon us, I've been thinking about how I'd like to become better at sending simple, hand-written cards in 2017. I just got done writing out and sending our Christmas cards and there was something special about putting pen to paper and writing a quick message or jotting a quick note on the card. I am terrible at keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries, and other special dates. Truly terrible. I had started putting these important dates in a calendar back in 2015 and it went really well that year…until 2016 ("the year of craziness" – as Dusty and I are referring to it as)…in 2016 I've failed miserably at keeping up with birthdays and other special dates. My goal is to change that around in 2017 and put all of my important dates into a calendar again and stay on top of things. I also have a hard time remembering to snag cards and fun gift wrap while I am out doing my grocery shopping…I've found ordering things online and having it shipped to my doorstep has been a HUGE help – especially now that we have a little baby and it's cold and wintery outside – I don't get out nearly as much as I used to. I am planning on ordering most all of my cards ahead of time and labeling them with a sticky note and organizing them in my new desk (photos of my new office space to come soon)! I especially love the company Design Design – based out of Grand Rapids, MI – wooop wooop! My home state of Michigan!
