My Ultra-Pretty Neutral Makeup Items From Nordstrom

As Mother Nature transitions into crisp, cool temperatures…our wardrobes change, and so does our makeup routine. I always love updating my makeup to fit the season, keeping certain items in and swapping out others. I wanted to add items to my makeup arsenal that enhanced the glow of my skin and kept things pretty, with neutral palettes – perfect for every day or a night out. I've found some items that have helped me to create an ultra-pretty neutral fall and winter makeup.

Below are the items I found from Nordstrom and love – along with photos of the results!

NARS Illuminator “Hot Sand”: Let me just start by saying this product has been a game changer with my makeup routine. I squeeze a pinky tip size amount and mix it into my foundation and apply all over my face. I then come back after and dab a little on its own under my eyes, on my cheekbones, and on my forehead. It illuminates my skin and gives it a healthy, radiant glow. I can’t say enough great things about it!

Dior “Diorshow” Iconic Extreme Mascara: I sometimes feel like eye makeup can make or break a look. And for a romantic look I wanted to make sure that my eye make up wasn’t over done…but was still dramatic. I opted to focus on my eyelashes vs. my eye shadow. I got this mascara in the color extreme black and really like it! It gives my eyelashes a natural, separated look and feel, also adding volume and definition.

MAC Lipstick “Velvet Teddy”: The best way to finalize any look is to add a lip color that pulls everything together. This particular lipstick by MAC is a matte lipstick that provides a pop of color that achieves the “romantic feel”. It is long lasting, rich in color and even in application.
