Our Dwelling: Our Bedroom

Its been a while since I’ve posted a peek inside another part of our little humble abode. And lucky you! You get to see our bedroom! I know…you can barely contain yourself. I finally found a day where there was nice light coming in the window…Dusty’s underwear wasn’t strewn across the floor…and our bed was made. So I snagged the opportunity to document its cleanness. The dresser we purchased for $50 (or less?) which was brown initially…I had Dusty, my dad and brother paint it up for me. Our bed is a King size bed…recently purchased once we realized having two pups who like to snuggle made for tight quarters. Our carpet is from the lovely Ikea. The book shelf is also made by Dusty, my dad and brother.  My bracelet holders are old white vases from a thrift shop. And last but not least…the headboard was a great antique shop find – learn more about how it came to be by clicking HERE.

Mine totally looks like that too – except, instead of that gorgeous rug… think piles of kids clothes, and instead of pretty shoes all lined up… think cheerios… and no super cute headboard… or perfectly arranged shelfs…. so really it looks nothing like this… LOL.. I wish it did.

I am having serious bedroom envy.
